Adis Padron

Hello, I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, with experience of five years. I have worked extensively with families dealing with varying issues in their personal lives, home and school. I have also worked individually with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, parenting issues and other traumas. I have experience in substance abuse with adults and older teens. My counseling style is encouraging, empathic and collaborating with the client. I believe in listening to the client and providing my assistance in finding a possible solution to the presenting problem. Creating a safe environment in which the therapeutic relationship can grow and flourished in order for the client to open up to their best abilities. My approach in counseling combines: CBT, Motivational Interviewing with a bit of Psychodynamic Therapy. Every client is different with their own unique needs, therefore, I will work to create treatment plans and goals to fit said needs.
