My name is Adrienne Parker and I’ve worked in mental health for over 9yrs providing individual, group, and family therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’ve gained valuable experience working in Hospital Emergency Depts (Crisis Team), Psychiatric Hospitals, Residential Treatment Centers, Private Practices, Group Homes, and in the Community. I am culturally competent having worked with a variety of populations, backgrounds, and lifestyles providing therapy and treatment to all ages and a range of diagnoses and issues such as: Depression, Anxiety, Youth Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Mood Disorders, Adjustment Disorder, Childhood PTSD/Trauma, Character Skill Building/Self Esteem, ODD, Stress Reduction, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Parents of Children with Special Needs. I am open to discussing interfaith matters, and an advocate for the LGBTQ community. My therapeutic approach is honest, direct, and effective. My clinical approach is client centered, goal oriented, and solution focused including: Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Imago Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychotherapy, Brief Therapy, and ERP. Make your next move your best move. Every good therapist has a personal goal, and that is to build self-sufficiency in their client. I know that goal has been achieved when I am no longer needed.
