Hey! My name is Aisha and I am passionate about art in the forms of food, nature, and self-expression. I am a yogi, baker, and adventure enthusiast. I have been practicing in the mental health field for the past four years, and the addiction field for the past two years. My approach with clients is holistic, as I like to apply a variety of theories, approaches, methods, and exercises in my practice depending on what each individual needs. I frequently utilize CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches, among others as well. I am flexible and fluid in the approaches I implement within client-centered sessions. I am eager to teach coping skills to those who struggle to manage stress, and to teach it in a way that maximizes chances for long-term effectiveness. I am passionate about helping you to achieve life-long skills that will enhance the quality of your life. I am hopeful to also work with clients through ReGain, PrideCounseling, and TeenCounseling. I am passionate about helping couples and individuals of diverse backgrounds reach their unique goals. I understand that with each person, comes a unique worldview. Upon understanding your worldview the best that I can, I hope to develop goals with you that we can collaboratively work toward. My style will be warm and unbiased, and head-on at times. If you are willing to share your stories, concerns, or needs with me, I will be honored to help you in all ways that I can.
