“We don’t have to do it all alone. We were never meant to”-Brene Brown At times in suffering, we feel alone in our pain, however- nothing could be further than the truth, if we can take the first step to connect with another in our time of need. If this is your first time looking for a therapist, or you are returning to therapy, I want to commend you for having the courage to take this step. I’ve bore witness on just how powerful and transformative the element of human connection is during a person’s journey for treatment, healing, and growth. If you happen upon my page, I want to let you know I would like to use my experience, to support you where you are at, in a safe and non-judgmental space. I have 4 years + as working as a licensed counselor in Texas, and have experience working with different populations, and in different settings. I have experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting with adults, active-duty military, veterans, adolescents, and children, as well as experience working in an outpatient community mental health psychiatric treatment center with adults. Additionally, I have experience in working with people whom are experiencing and/or are diagnosed with but not limited to; depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, to include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), LGBTQ+ related issues, anger, and aggression. I have adopted an eclectic therapeutic approach that draws on different therapeutic modalities/interventions to help accommodate different clients. I typically utilize person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and/or solution-focused therapy techniques. Thank you for stopping by my page! I look forward to working with you.
