Alexandra Connor

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, and have been in the field for about 11 years. I have been practicing therapy for about 4 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients with varying concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, gender identity and sexuality concerns. I have also helped many people who have experienced emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuse. I practice from a place of acceptance and clients I work with typically find me warm, inviting, and supportive. I work from a systems perspective, knowing that a person exists in their environment and influences outside of us can cause monumental impacts. I practice a variety of interventions including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution focused, psychodrama, and motivational interviewing, I will tailer our sessions to fit your emotional and therapeutic needs. It takes courage and a recognition of love within yourself to take the steps to addressing concerns and struggles that you are encountering in life.
