About Alicia Teeter's service

I am licensed in Wyoming with 4 years of professional work experience in counseling. I also have experience in the education field, teaching both elementary and secondary content. I began my counseling career working with inmates and substance use disorders. I then moved into working with children, teens, and adults addressing mental health concerns ranging from abuse and trauma to life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I like to use a client/person centered approach, as each individual is unique and is the expert on his/her/their life. I also like to explore how the past is in the present, utilizing CBT and EMDR to work towards a new way of engaging with the present. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
