Alisa Sharoikina

Alisa Sharoikina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 earning a Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse. In addition, she received Specialized Substance Addiction Training from Outreach Training Institute and holds a CASAC certification. She has over 6 years of experience working with individuals and families who suffer from variety of mental illnesses. She uses a number of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy. A strength based, person centered approach guides her practice. She believes that proper therapeutic guidance combined with client’s determination creates a recipe for achieving desired treatment outcomes.
