Amy Andra is a licensed mental health therapist based in Texas. With a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas, she has been providing professional therapy services since 2012. Amy is dedicated to continuous growth and development to ensure the best support for individuals affected by traumatic experiences and adverse life events. She follows a theory and practice that emphasizes trust in our innate ability to heal. Amy firmly believes that we are the experts of our own lives and possess all the necessary tools to grow, change, and overcome challenges. Amy is highly trained in trauma-focused methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing, which facilitate the processing of difficult life experiences while prioritizing overall well-being. Amy understands the profound impact of the therapeutic connection and believes it is a powerful catalyst for self-discovery and positive change.
