Hello. What is your story? How have your experiences shaped you? Where are you stuck and where would you like to be heading? As a traveler, a mom, and a mental health professional for 25 years, I have been honored to listen to the incredible stories of so many people. I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults, listening to sadness and joy and stories that are filled with lessons and hope. And let’s be honest, this past year, we have experienced a collective sadness that has shaped our lives and connected us to each other even while feeling more and more disconnected. I know the search for a therapist that meets your needs, and with whom you feel comfortable with is as unique as your own personal story. But you have taken the first step and I’m happy you are here. Through Cognitive-Behavioral and Strengths Based Therapy, I hope to listen to your story and walk with you in the process of using your inner knowledge to enrich your life. I hope to balance negative self-talk and doubt with compassion and tools for moving through difficult transitions, and emotions. I am trained in trauma-focused work and am sensitive to sexual and gender identity, cultural dynamics, systemic racism and struggles in parenting, relationships, and self-worth.
