About Amy Conneely's service

I am a a licensed certified social worker – clinical in Maryland with over 15 years experience. I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work and my Master’s in Social Work from Delaware State University. I have experience working in a variety of settings including medical social work (including hospital, hospice, oncology and home health), geriatric settings (nursing homes and assisted livings), substance abuse treatment centers, and residential programs for adults. I have experience helping clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, caregiver fatigue, family conflict, and parenting concerns. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in that all clients should be treated with dignity, respect and without judgement. I utilize motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and client-centered therapy. I believe in a strengths based approach.
