Dr. Amy Cuellar

Dr. Amy Cuellar is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas, specializing in helping individuals achieve their visions of recovery from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, stress, paranoia, and other problems in living. With a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Miami, Dr. Cuellar has extensive experience in providing therapy and support to individuals facing various challenges. Her expertise lies in assisting clients in overcoming barriers and setting and achieving goals to lead meaningful lives. Dr. Cuellar’s theoretical orientations are rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, using evidence-based approaches to decrease symptoms and promote adjustment to life transitions. With a collaborative and client-centered style, Dr. Cuellar believes in empowering her clients to become their own therapists and partners in their recovery journey. Her passion for helping others is evident in her numerous publications, including contributions to the Handbook of Depression and Psychiatric Clinics of North America.
