I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with over 10 years of experience. I have worked in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Minnesota in a variety of settings, including residential and outpatient treatment centers. Minnesota is where I call home. I currently work as a clinical director for a mental health and chemical dependency residential treatment center in Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007, majoring in psychology and then received my LADC with Minnesota in 2013. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University in 2019. In 2019 I also received my Licensed Graduate Social Work (LGSW) before receiving my LICSW in 2022. My experience includes helping patients with a variety of concerns, including addiction, depression, anxiety, impulsivity, life changes, relationship issues, career challenges, and trauma. I believe in person centered, compassionate, non-judgmental care. I tailor my therapy approaches and styles to match your individual needs. I include the following therapy styles and modalities into my practice; cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, mindfulness practices, humanistic, psychodynamic, solution focused, and trauma informed care. I am passionate about serving others because I believe everyone has the capability to heal, recover, and live a meaningful life. I am here to help you achieve your goals.
