Andrea Bray Ryan

Andrea Bray Ryan is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s level education in the state of Texas. She holds a certification in Traumatic Stress Studies from The Trauma Center at JRI through Bessel Van der Kolk. With years of experience working in a behavioral hospital with inpatient and outpatient clients, as well as in private practice, Andrea has addressed a wide range of mental health issues. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by empathy, support, non-judgment, and being present in the moment. She specializes in helping individuals with depression, anxiety, stress management, traumatic experiences, mood swings, women’s concerns, interpersonal relationship issues, personal or professional growth, as well as grief and loss. Andrea is highly skilled in assisting clients in developing coping skills, relaxation techniques, yoga/body integration, and self-regulation techniques to enhance their relationships at home and work. She believes in utilizing strengths and developing new skills to integrate the struggles clients face. Andrea’s approach is backed by scientifically supported techniques tailored to each individual’s unique situation.
