Andrew Mercer

Andrew Mercer is a licensed therapist and life coach with over 8 years of experience working with adults in private practice. He has also spent 3 years specifically working with college-aged adults. Andrew takes pride in his honest and straightforward approach to counseling, and his ability to hold space for clients to find their own answers. He understands that life’s struggles can be overwhelming, and believes that everyone can benefit from seeking help at some point. With a background in pastoral counseling and training from Loyola University in Chicago, Andrew is equipped to address both spiritual and traditional concerns. He draws from relational schools of thought, such as psychodynamic, humanistic, and Adlerian, and applies them in a pragmatic manner to ensure a brief and effective counseling process. Andrew’s experience in diverse settings has provided him with the skills to work with individuals from various backgrounds, with a particular expertise in supporting those with spiritual and religious questions, LGBT issues, anxiety, and coping with grief and loss.
