Dr. Andrew Perez

Dr. Andrew Perez is a highly experienced therapist with a diverse background in providing mental health services. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Perez has worked with a wide range of clients, including college students and individuals in the Texas prison system. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Counseling. Dr. Perez obtained his full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2013 and has since become a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. Currently, he works in a university counseling center, providing mental health services to students and supervising interns and staff. Additionally, Dr. Perez offers supervision to less experienced therapists outside of the university and teaches on a part-time basis. Throughout his career, Dr. Perez has utilized various treatment approaches, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He also incorporates Solution-focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into his practice, tailoring his approach to meet the specific needs of each client. With his extensive training and expertise, Dr. Perez is dedicated to helping individuals achieve positive change and improve their overall well-being.
