Angeles Coss Gaona

Angeles Coss Gaona is a culturally-focused counselor who believes in considering all dimensions of an individual’s lived experience. With a goal of facilitating self-healing, Angeles aims to deepen clients’ understanding of their worldview perspective, connections, and goals. Specializing in working with adolescents and adults, Angeles supports those struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, psychological trauma, relational ruptures, and LGBTQ+ struggles. Fluent in English and Spanish, Angeles currently offers teletherapy services. As a PhD candidate in counselor education and supervision, Angeles is researching eating behaviors and transgender males for her dissertation. In her free time, she enjoys stretching, reading, yoga, walking, cycling, traveling, and savoring food. Angeles strives to provide counseling that validates clients’ experiences and helps them feel seen and heard.
