Angela Angie Sheire

Angie Sheire, a licensed professional counselor with 25 years of experience in the field of psychology, is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their personal journeys. Originally from Michigan, Angie began her career working with children and adolescents in a residential treatment facility. She then expanded her expertise by working in a partial hospitalization program for adults, a domestic violence shelter, and a community mental health center. Ten years ago, she relocated to Texas and has since worked in an adolescent partial hospitalization program, an Employee Assistance Program, and now has her own private practice. Angie has extensive experience working with clients of all ages, ranging from 5-year-old children to individuals in their 80s, offering individual, couples, and family therapy. Known for her empathetic and compassionate approach, Angie believes in partnering with her clients, making her a person-centered and solution-focused counselor. She has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute and has additional expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. However, Angie takes an eclectic approach to treatment, incorporating Psychotherapy, Existentialism, and a Humanistic approach.
