Ann Ghabel

I am licensed in Iowa with 10 years of professional work experience as a therapist. In addition I worked for 40 years in an inpatient child psychiatry unit as a nurse and taught psychiatric nursing. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, & parenting issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am a Brainspotting practioner, this is a tool that may be used to help people improve understanding and insight about issues causing distress. It is also useful for people who have experienced emotional trauma. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
