About Anna Coward's service

Hello! My name is Anna Coward and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina. I have worked as a school counselor for 8 years and have experience with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. I also have experience in child abuse and neglect, sexual assault, and domestic violence. My counseling style focuses on bringing a positive, non judgmental and laid back energy to the relationship. It can be uncomfortable to start counseling! I believe that taking time to establish a good relationship is essential to feeling comfortable enough to open up about the challenges that you are experiencing. I know how difficult it can be to reach out for help and I commend you for taking the first steps! The theories that I draw from are solution-focused, client centered, and cognitive behavioral. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for considering me to be a part of your journey!
