Dr. Anthony Montez

Dr. Anthony Montez is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Human Services, specializing in counseling. With a therapeutic style that emphasizes the importance of the counselor/client relationship as a clinical helping strategy, Dr. Montez incorporates narratives and vignettes to help clients understand their circumstances in a non-threatening manner. Working with individuals and couples, his expertise lies in adult relationship issues, including major life events, various forms of loss, and intimacy problems. Additionally, Dr. Montez has experience addressing attention deficit disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, work-related stress problems, adjustment issues, and general faith or spiritual concerns. While he draws from various theories of human behavior and development, he gravitates towards the existential/transpersonal model, focusing on the present experiences of individuals as spiritual beings embodied. Offering 40 sessions per week, Dr. Montez’s availability is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hour break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Each session lasts 45 minutes.
