Ashleigh Gabriel

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I have my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. I received my Bachelor’s in Social from from Northeastern State University. When it comes to providing therapy, I like take a holistic approach to therapy by really looking at all areas of wellness in one’s life and how we can work together to make improvements across the board. I develop strong relationships with my clients to identify the person’s strengths and use those to overcome challenges, develop more positive coping skills, and live a healthier, happier life. I tend to utilize basic Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques, which focus on challenging negative thinking and changing your mindset. I am also a big proponent of Positive Psychology and using mindfulness techniques. I like to have fun by incorporating a variety of activities into therapy. I am easy-going and truly enjoy helping others. I’m from Oklahoma and enjoy reading sci-fi/fantasy. I also play roller derby on a local league in town.
