It is not easy to decide to look to others for help and to open yourself up to an individual that you do not know. Sharing your life and your inner most thoughts can be a very difficult decision, And usually when you’ve reached this decision, most times it has become pretty overwhelming. I am here to help you sort those things out and make life more manageable. You can start to breathe a sign of relief. I am a client-centered, licensed therapist which means I am directed by YOU. You call the shots. You tell me what you want to work on and what is most important to you. Then I use my 10+ years of experience to determine how to make things better for you. I have worked in a psychiatric inpatient setting with people who have specific diagnosable conditions such as Bipolar, Narcissistic Personality Disorder (PD), Borderline PD, PTSD, Mood Disorder, and Schizophrenia. I also have worked in an outpatient setting providing therapy to individuals in the community where anxiety, depression, substance abuse and trauma were very prevalent. I have used Trauma-based treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Strength-based Therapy.
