About Ashley Williams's service

Hi! My name is Ashley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings, including: child welfare, foster care and adoption, substance abuse treatment, cancer and chronic illness care and recovery, and within the prison system. I work primarily with clients and caregivers affected by trauma or secondary trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and those coping with grief, loss, compassion fatigue, or other life changes. I received both by undergraduate and graduate degrees in South Florida from Florida Atlantic University. My approach to therapy is client centered and trauma informed. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and thus should determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a strengths-based and solutions-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans that accomplish their goals.
