I am a licensed and experienced psychotherapist. I have my masters degree in Counseling from California Institute of Integral Studies. I have specialized experience in several areas including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship concerns, navigating modern dating, stress, employment issues and in working with individuals who are highly sensitive. I primarily use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Focused Therapy and Client Centered approaches in my work. I am a California native who loves animals and time in nature. I live by my values of connection, service, self-reflection, humor and playfulness, family and creating a life of meaning. Clients can expect safety and support in working with me. I am straightforward and genuine but also warm and gentle in my approach. I work to help clients see their strengths and manage their challenges more effectively. I will give you new insights and tools to help you create the life you want. We will work together to unpack the challenges you face and find solutions that work for you. ​ I will accept you as you are; tearful, angry, mean, scared, happy, its okay to bring any part of yourself to therapy with me. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with the difficulties in your life. It can be hard to know where to start, Looking at all these profiles can be overwhelming.
