I am a NY state licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger management, life transition, career coaching, relationship issues, health concerns, wellness, and trauma and adjustment. We often get stuck in patterned ways of responding both to other people in our lives and also to our own thoughts and feelings. I work collaboratively with people to foster strengths in order to transform their behavior so that they live a life that feels purposeful and values-driven. I utilize several treatment modalities including short and long term, individual, group, and family therapy. My training and approach includes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral (CBT) therapy incorporating motivational interviewing and mindfulness. I offer a safe space to explore the wide range of emotions that you experience throughout your day. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My goal is to support the people I work with to develop increased flexibility. This often involves adapting and changing behaviors in ways that increase fulfillment and meaning. I look forward to working together.
