Greetings and positive energy to you, Sometimes The Only Way Forward Is Through. On this journey called life we can sometimes break down, take a wrong turn, or lose our way; but with the proper directions we can always get back on the right path. Thank you for taking the time today to put your mental health first as you begin to regain control of your life’s journey. My name is Brandon Dobson, I am a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Mississippi and Texas with almost a decade of experience working as a clinical therapist and counselor. As an advanced level clinician, I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and demographics (including children, teenagers, adults, veterans, and the elderly) with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood instability, relationship issues, phase of life changes, and career difficulties. I have also worked with people who have experienced various types of physical/mental/sexual/military trauma and/or emotional abuse. I developed my counseling style based on the comprehensive and adaptive needs of my clients. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, person-centered, solution-focused, existential, narrative and trauma focused therapy. I believe that we all have the power to reach our personal potential and overcome whatever life brings our ways. I look forward to working with you on your journey!
