Hi there, my name is Briana from East Tennessee. I enjoy playing with my 2 dogs, re-watching The Office, and being outdoors. I am grateful that you are taking the time and effort to care for yourself. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. I have worked in the mental health field for 4 years now. I have provided intensive in home services and counseling in a residential treatment setting, along with providing counseling via tele-health. I have a vast experience working with adults, children, and teenagers overcoming various mental health symptoms, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and family dynamics, among others. Life is hard, and oftentimes we find ourselves needing the support of therapy, our community, and our own resilience to manage. Myself included, this therapist sees a therapist of her own. I believe in the process of therapy and utilizing support from others. My therapeutic style is warm and welcoming. Therapy together will be completed at your pace, at your comfort level. There might be times that I challenge you to grow through being out of your comfort zone. However, only as you are able. I truly believe that we grow and change at our own pace. As a therapist, I view myself as a GPS. I will listen to your perspective and your concerns, while offering additional insight. Ultimately, however, you are the driver and will choose which direction makes the most sense for your life. I understand that we all have various needs when coming to therapy, and the relationship between you and your therapist is crucial. If we are matched and are not a good fit, I encourage you and will support in transitioning to a therapist that is a better fit.
