Thanks for considering me for your counseling needs! I’m an Alabama-based Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in children and adolescents, but has a wide scope of experience, ranging from severe mental illness, to parenting, to women’s empowerment, and grief. I believe that the best counseling experience is derived when a person feels empowered enough to challenge their own comfort zone and explore their vulnerability, and I actively work to be the counselor that a client can do that with. I have training in working with children and teens with behavioral and mood issues, parenting issues, trauma, and adjustment. My counseling method is integrative, utilizing various theories as well as interactive art and play techniques as well as geek therapy, that work with children, teens, and adults. “In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important.” – The Doctor – I believe that all people have the capacity for insight and the potential for greatness, they just occasionally need a little help finding it along the way.
