Brooke Berthiaume

Hello! My name is Brooke Berthiaume, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oklahoma with many years of experience working with people to help them feel empowered to meet their goals and overcome difficulties with mental health. My style of therapy is warm and compassionate; my goal is to show empathy, provide education, and listen. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in a successful therapy experience, so building a professional, collaborative relationship is a high priority for me. My goal is to help people gain the tools and skills needed to face whatever life situation occurs, to process past experiences and prevent mental health from controlling lives. Recognizing the power of emotions, and using tools to help us name, utilize, feel and work through those emotions help us feel our best, and to live our best lives. Therapy tools I commonly use are cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), cognitive processing therapy, solution focused, client-centered, motivational interviewing , narrative therapy and psychotherapy. I have worked fully remote as a therapist for approximately 2 years, so if you’re unsure about virtual therapy, I’m hopeful that I can make it comfortable and a positive experience for you.
