I am a mother and a small business owner in private practice in Green Bay, WI. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor for over 5 years. I have been WI state certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008. I have worked ten years in domestic violence and supporting and empowering victims of emotional or other abuse. I have worked with emotional behaviorally challenged children in a Day Treatment setting and as well as in Intensive In Home Psychotherapy for a long time as well. I’ve had significant experience with domestic violence/abuse/trauma, red flags, healthy relationships, depression, anxiety, stress, empowering women/teens/college students, and with children struggling with their mood regulation/anxiety/peer relationships. I love to work with a variety of different clientele. I have several years of working with the LGBTQ community as well. My approach to therapy is based on Cognitive Behavioral and Client Centered Theories. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, let you know I am part of your team and to make progress on your treatment goals as you have Identified in the most respectful and ethical manner. I am not the stuffy, uptight clinician looking down at you from my eyeglasses with a I’m better than you look. You can be yourself when working with me. Completely! I want to empower you and support you to work through your chosen goals of whatever that may be. I look forward to working with you.
