Brooke Jacobsen

I am an LCSW with experience working with parents for the past ten years in Hawaii. I have served families and individuals in Hawaii as a Social Worker, Therapist, and parent educator. I am passionate about serving women during the perinatal period, this includes trying to conceive, pregnancy, and the year after birth. I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor and love supporting women during their journeys as mothers during any stage. I am a doula so I bring extensive knowledge of pregnancy and birth preparation with a special interest in healing birth trauma. I am experienced in working with people with chronic medical conditions, as well as substance abuse recovery. My treatment approach is always trauma informed, a cognitive behavioral therapy model, with a client driven treatment style. I offer a safe place to build a healthy therapeutic relationship, learn tools to enhance daily functioning, and heal and grow. I am a mother of two boys living on a farm on the windward side of Oahu.
