(Cheryl) Austenfeld

Cheryl Austenfeld is a compassionate and experienced therapist who understands that taking the first step towards counseling can be intimidating. With a Masters in Counseling and School Counseling from Western Michigan University, Cheryl has been in private practice since 2009, providing individual and group therapy to clients of all ages. Cheryl’s approach is person-centered, creating a safe and accepting environment where clients can share their thoughts and feelings. By using a strengths-based approach and drawing from theories such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, Cheryl helps clients manage anxiety, depression, and family/teen/children issues. She believes in walking alongside her clients on their healing journey, providing support and guidance. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking with her husband, as well as spending quality time with their children and grandchildren.
