Hello, I am licensed professional clinical counselor in California and Maryland. I believe the most important aspect to the therapeutic process is to establish and maintain a strong rapport with my clients. I promise to provide a non-judgmental space for you and help you feel as comfortable as you can in my presence. It’s important that you trust me and I believe my genuineness, empathetic style and unconditional positive regard will help facilitate a healthy working relationship. One of my goals in each session is for you to be heard. I want you to lead our sessions and openly express the concerns you are currently experiencing. I also take on a holistic approach to therapy and am interested in all aspects of your life. I think having a solid understanding of your past, present and future life events will help us understand your current emotional state. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance and alcohol abuse and relationship issues. I am confident my client-focused approach and therapeutic techniques will help you find new meaning in your life, lead you to self-actualization and help you reach your greatest potential.
