Carien Myburgh

Carien Myburgh is a highly experienced and dedicated therapist who believes in the power of change and the importance of addressing past traumas and negative emotions. With a counseling philosophy centered around the idea that life is short, Carien strives to help her clients achieve rapid and lasting change so they can live free from the burdens of the past. While she emphasizes the need for gentle and patient approaches when dealing with sensitive issues, Carien is committed to providing effective and efficient counseling services. Originally from South Africa, she obtained an Honors Degree in Psychology in 1986 before furthering her studies in the United States. In 2012, Carien completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University and has since been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor. It is important to note that due to licensing requirements, Carien is only able to provide counseling services to individuals residing in Texas.
