I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the DC/Maryland/Virginia metro area with over 15 years’ experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of behavioral and mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems and career challenges. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach to therapy is client centered, solution focused, and strengths based. Our sessions are your safe space for unpacking your thoughts and feelings, identifying life challenges, and learning new ways to manage them that will allow you to feel better and set you back on the road to achieving your life goals. I also help clients identify and practice daily, effective self-care activities on their journey towards wellness. I utilize and combine various therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Therapy in helping clients successfully reach their therapeutic goals.
