Carole LaFreniere is a highly skilled therapist who specializes in working with clients facing various concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and sexual assault. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, Carole holds certifications as a Trauma Professional, Grief Therapist, and Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider. Drawing on her extensive experience in the mental health field over the past 6 years, Carole has worked with both inpatient psychiatric patients and individual clients in the community. She firmly believes in the importance of the client/therapist relationship and takes a collaborative approach to therapy, working with clients to set goals and find solutions. Carole’s therapeutic approach is a blend of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapy, with a focus on utilizing clients’ strengths and considering their whole person in their unique environment.
