I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with 14 years of experience working with children, teens and their families. I use a collaborative approach, working with the client to identify issues affecting their lives and working together to facilitate hope, healing and growth. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, anger, & parenting challenges. I also have experience working with concentration, memory and focus (adhd). I use a variety of techniques based on client strengths and needs to focus on current concerns and past experiences to facilitate healing and change. I assist clients in recognizing negative thinking patterns and behavior, to change those patterns and move towards growth, increased quality of life and healing. Treatment approaches are all strengths-based and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT& Person-centered Therapy. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
