Welcome! First and foremost, I am proud of you for taking the steps to reach out for support; I know that can be scary to share your life with a stranger. My goal is to build a foundation, together, where you feel most comfortable processing through the situations that led you to seek supportive services. I believe you are the expert in your life, and my job is to help bring theory into practice, to help you meet your goals. I’m not your typical “how does that make you feel” therapist, though I certainly care about your feelings/ feedback and will check in throughout the therapeutic process. I’m a behavioral therapist through and through meaning; I align with the concept that our beliefs drive our behaviors. Together, we will work to examine, understand, and replace maladaptive thought patterns with ones that will help lead to positive life outcomes. I have over a decade of experience working in the field, with a variety of populations including children, teens, adults, and couples. I specialize in working with co-occurring disorders such as mental health and substance abuse, along with anxiety, depression, bi-polar, life transition issues, relationship and intimacy issues, and trauma. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and respectful. I approach all with empathy, compassion, and sensitivity. I have a strong desire to help others realize and achieve their goals.
