Chanay Smith (LCSW)

Life is a journey and there will always be turns and dips. The good thing about this life is there are people like me to help guide you through the ups and downs. My name is Chanay and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I work with individuals, couples and families coping with chronic illnesses and adapting to everyday life situations. I also enjoy working with individuals adjusting to different life events, such as career, school, relationships, legal situations and identity questioning. I am here to support you through those times you need an extra hand and to also celebrate your wins, even if they may seem minute. I have a background in Public Health with Medical, Youth and Elderly Social Work operating in both the public and private sector. I have worked with ages ranging from birth to mature and everything in between. I am passionate about client-centered care focusing on your goals to be successful in your life. I have training in Solution Focused Behavioral Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Visualization. I have encountered various individuals and relational units wanting to overcome and/or manage anxiety, depression, adjustments, mood changes, stress and more. I understand how our mental can sometimes manifest into the physical and I truly believe our health including mental health is our wealth. My goal is to empower YOU to be a better you regardless of the circumstances and what may come. I allow for a non-judgmental zone for you to be able to express yourself freely, unapologetically.
