Dr. Charla Lewis

Dr. Charla Lewis is a highly experienced therapist based in Texas with over 24 years of professional experience working with individuals, families, and support groups. She is licensed to see virtual clients in 35 states, providing wider access to counseling supports, especially to those in underserved regions. Dr. Lewis holds an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Tele-psychology license through the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (www.asppb.net). She is dedicated to creating a safe and compassionate space for her clients to work through life’s challenges. In addition to utilizing traditional talk therapy approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal therapy, Dr. Lewis also integrates body/somatic strategies and creative arts to facilitate more in-depth discovery and healing. She understands the importance of accommodating different schedules and offers session hours in the late afternoon to late evening, making it convenient for 9-5ers, parents/caretakers, and clients with sleep problems.
