Charm Little-Ray

Every day people work to better themselves; overcoming life stressors, traumas, relational problems, and internal conflicts. My belief is that people can change and have the skills to make those changes. My goal is to help my clients, which include, families, individuals, and couples, in developing their capacity to learn more about themselves and develop healthier relationships to progress in life. I take a person-centered approach with my clients, which allows me flexibility, as I trust that my clients have what it takes to make the necessary changes in their lives. I have training in Structural Family Therapy (SFT) and have used this model with working with families, and individuals in the child welfare system, for 7 years. I have also been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and utilized its techniques to help individuals address concerning areas in their lives and create healthier choices. I am a certified clinical trauma professional which allows me the opportunity to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of how trauma impacts an individual and best practices for treatment. My aim is to work with individuals to develop healthier thoughts, coping strategies, healthy relationships, tackle life challenges with a positive mindset.
