Chasity Jones (Chas)

I am a BIPOC and LGBTQ identifying, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and have been practicing professionally as a counselor for 4 years. I have gained most of my professional experience working in Community Mental Health with substance use, co-occurring, and incarcerated populations. My specialties include, working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and additional mood and psychotic disorders. I am person-centered, collaborative, strengths-based and culturally sensitive. My goal is to aid my clients in enhancing and increasing their motivation, feelings of self-worth, self-acceptance and confidence; while navigating life, love, career, parenthood, and personal growth. I value authenticity and safety within the therapeutic relationship and supporting the autonomy of my clients. My style as a therapist is warm, compassionately direct, humorous, relatable, and eclectic. From my therapeutic lens, we cannot heal in isolation. Alone time is imperative, but healing is better cultivated in support and healthy connection to others.
