Cheryl Maddox

Hello! My name is Cheryl Maddox and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have experience working with children, families, and adults in a therapeutic setting. My main focus is you and what your personal goals are for yourself. I will walk alongside you to help you make a plan to reach those goals that seem impossible. My faith in Christ is what has called me to help others. I am a pastor at my church as well as a therapist in my community. My passion is working with individuals, couples, and families to help them work through anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, career/lifestyle coaching, relationship issues, financial problems, and adjustments to major life events. I will be here to coach you through these problems, no matter how big or small. I will approach our time together by determining first where you want to go so we can look at your current situation with the end in mind. You’re the driver, I’m the navigator. It takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help when times are tough. I am committed to being your biggest cheerleader! The techniques I use include solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Therapy with me is a judgment-free zone.
