Dr. Christie Taylor, a highly experienced and compassionate therapist, is dedicated to earning your trust and helping you navigate your journey towards clarity and self-discovery. With a focus on your hopes and dreams, she aims to address any lingering shadows from your past that may be affecting your present. Dr. Taylor’s expertise lies in substance abuse counseling, where she has witnessed the transformative power of the 12-step program in reshaping one’s thought patterns and emotions. With over 30 years of experience in leading mental health and substance abuse treatment programs, she has held various leadership positions, including Clinical Director of a psychiatric hospital and CEO of a non-profit Substance Use Disorder treatment program. Dr. Taylor has also played a vital role in the development of addiction/chronic pain programs at Memorial Hermann PaRC in Houston. Alongside her clinical work, she has been an esteemed adjunct faculty member at the University of St Thomas-Houston, Cameron University in Lawton/Ft Sill, OK, and the University of Houston, contributing to the Addiction Counseling Training Program for over 20 years.
