Hi, I am a modern psychotherapist and social worker based in New York City with 10 years of experience working in nonprofit organizations and the healthcare industry. Iโve worked with teens, post-grad-to-pre-parenthood adults as well as the geriatric population who are challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, triggering events and major life transitions. First off, I want to applaud you for taking the first step to sign up for therapy. Youโre probably here because youโre feeling anxious, stuck, isolated, lost and worried whether if itโs because of your job, future, relationships and/or current events. Or maybe, youโre just curious. My approach is relatable, collaborative, solution focused, and strength based drawing heavily from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I believe youโre the expert of your story and we will always take the conversation as far as you want it to go. Remember, therapy isnโt about the severity of your problems or ability to solve them; itโs an opportunity to see things differently. Throughout this journey of healing and growth, we will deeply explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and relationships to discover unconscious patterns of behavior. Ultimately, my goal is to provide you with an individualized therapy experience thatโs genuine, positive, respectful, and safe so that you can walk away feeling invigorated and empowered. I look forward to connecting with you!
