Connie Dockrey

Hello my name is Connie Dockrey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma and in North Carolina. I have over 5 years of experience in providing substance use and mental health services to individuals, families, and conducting group counseling. I am also a Licensed Registered Play Therapist. I have worked with clients from ages 4 to adults. I am Certified in Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach, which is very beneficial for adolescents and young adults. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing which is a great approach for individuals with trauma. In the last 5 years, I have worked with individuals of all ages with a variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship problems, family problems, anger, trauma, self-esteem, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. My approach is Client Centered. My main purpose is to help my clients overcome any struggles they may be experiencing and to be there for support without judgement. I am a very caring and empathetic Clinician and will always have your best interest. I build a strong rapport with my Clients as I believe that is one of the main components of being able to help someone so they can reach their full potential. With my experience and training in numerous areas, I am confident that I can help you, your family, your child, etc. to live a more purposeful & meaningful life and alleviate any negative emotions you may be experiencing.
