Corinne Applegate

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota with over 10 years of supporting individuals with mental health needs. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community-based, traditional outpatient, and intensive outpatient via telehealth. I am experienced in working with a wide range of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, life adjustments, eating disorders, and trauma. My counseling style is relationally-based and client-centered, with a focus on treating the whole person (bio-psycho-social-spiritual). I have found that when an individual is provided the opportunity to reflect on their strengths and what is going well in these areas, and to express what is challenging and how they need support, the potential for growth and healing begins. I believe it is important to acknowledge that taking the first step can feel challenging. At the same time, there are so many potential positives that can result from stepping out in courage, including feeling heard and validated, gaining a new perspective on an existing problem, enhanced mood, improved self-esteem, more fulfilling relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose in life.
