About Crystal Christophersen's service

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Notre Dame College, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch University New England. I am a Licensed Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Massachusetts, as well as Licensed Professional Counselor in Maine. I hold the credential of Master Addiction Counselor from The National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional via IATP. I have over a decade of education and experience working with individuals struggling with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, addiction, substance abuse and trauma, as well as life transitions and stresses (such as divorce, parenting, loss and grief). I am also a 200 hr yoga instructor and trained mediation teacher. I draw on cognitive-behavioral approaches/therapy, as well as mindfulness-based practices.
