Danica Watson is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) based in Texas. With a passion for helping individuals become the best versions of themselves, Danica is thrilled to work with clients facing a range of mental health and behavioral issues. Her expertise lies in women’s issues, including teen pregnancy and women over 50, as well as divorce, pre-marital and marital counseling, co-dependency, and individuals aged 13 and up struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, alcohol/substance use, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis. Danica’s therapeutic philosophy centers around a person-centered approach, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, smart recovery (alcohol and substance use treatment), and love and logic parenting.
