About Daniel Janssen's service

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois with 3 years as a therapist and 9 years in mental health. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, ADHD, attachment issues, and various others. My therapy style is laid back and interactive. I believe in creating on non-threatening environment where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. My approach is client-centered as I believe you are the expert on yourself. My role in therapy is to help you sort through all the information you have on yourself in a constructive way. I also like to utilize tenets of cognitive-behavioral therapy and reality therapy. It can be hard to acknowledge the need for change and scary to ask for help. But I am ready to support and encourage you in reaching your goals for your mental health.
